How many times will we race?

Each team will race two times. The two teams with the best time will compete in the finals. 

How long is the raceway?  

The length of the raceway is approximately 50 metres.

Where are the bed races taking place?

The raceway is in the centre of Celebration Square.

How will I know my scheduled race time and my teams score? 

Race orders and team scores will be posted in the race pit, at registration and on the digital scoreboard.

Where will my bed be when we’re not racing at the venue? 

The race pit is located inside the Market Trellis at Celebration Square. Each team will have their own labeled parking spot.

What if it rains?

In the event of inclement weather, the races may be delayed and run on a modified schedule to ensure safety of the competitors. Please bring a hat, raincoats, umbrellas sunscreen and any other items you may need to be outside.

Do we need to wear helmets?

Yes, helmets are mandatory. You must have a helmet on before the race can begin.

Should I wear shin, elbow and kneepads? 

Yes, this is highly recommended to avoid injury.

The Scotiabank Better Together Bed Race fundraising challenge closes on Friday, June 2 at midnight. 

When do I have to submit my in-person pledges?

All in-person pledges are due Wednesday, May 31 at 5 p.m. and must be submitted to: Trillium Health Partners Foundation, 89 Queensway W. Suite 800, Mississauga, L5B 2V2.

Where do I park?

Underground parking is free on Sundays. Locations available at Central Library (Celebration South) entrance via Duke of York Blvd. and Civic Centre (Celebration North) entrance via Duke of York Blvd. There is limited street parking along Duke of York and Living Arts Drive. For a map, see Directions.
